Reality TV and the effects in human relations

Reality Tvs, reality shows have been a great deal lately. It has been very hard to find someone who can say that he or she has never watched a show like that. It's kind a fact that we all do watch them and mostly enjoy. Even the educated one's spend some time to watch that kind of emptiness what about the regular people? What about housewifes and unemployeds? What about the ones who barely finds things to spend their time effectively?
Well, the answer is clear. Huge amount of people watches that kind of programmes and the more they are watched the more they are produced. But the realy issue is the consequences of that action. Do we really consider the harms of the reality shows in public life?
As we can easily comprehend,  even though they are based on a format actually the Reality shows are made from real events. Or the actions which were made to be seem real. As a result the effects is naturally more powerful than the fiction programmes. Like series or movies. The feelings and reactions are so overshowed that people start to underestimate the real feelings and behaviors. It effects the real human relationships. People start to have difficulties in thrusting each other because there is always examples like Survivor who occasionaly "screw" each other. Lying Starts to seem natural. People starts to avoid making eye contacts. Relationships get more and more artificial.
Unfortunately the bad effects are not over, it also effects the family life. families only together activities have become watching TV last few years. And the real conversations became about who would win the American Idol during the prime time. It's quiet a pitty that it's the only time families can find time to spend together that is used in discussing irrelevant temporary fames. It's how we actually forget how to communicate with the ones we  really love. Or is it the fact the strenght of love reduces with tv too...

The Enormous Radio and the effect of spying other people's lifes

"The Enormous Radio" is a story that subconsciously summarizes the influence of realty shows on todays community. The addiction of  watching other peoples lifes were symbolized with Irene's thoughts and behaviours. Her depression and lack of pursuit and purpose pushed her to an addiction and started to push her away from her own reality. The radio was her only activity her only link with the active life. The music was the way she could express her lonelyness and tghe way she could pursuade herself that she was happy enough and she had everything she had and the opportunity of listening classical music was a privilege fo rher and Jim to seperate theirselves from their neighbours and friends. The uncommon fault of the radio disturbed Irene at first and she felt like she heard somethings she weren't suppose to hear and it created the feeling that anybody could listen to them too without letting them know about that. So she started to behave paranoidly and warn her  husband to talk quietly very often. The first influence of radio in her behaviors changed slowly to an addiction and obsession. Once she started to be aware of the events happening in the apartmant she wanted to learn more she wanted to follow the rest she wanted to learn the consequences of the events. And that was the beginning of a dreadful ending...
